Today was again a gloriously sunny day (be warned there will be some good suntans). The advanced and intermediate skiers were today given a packed lunch and started on the long trek towards the border. The trip involved several red and black runs (some of which were quite icy) and numerous chairs lifts but at some time around 13:30 the students skied across the border into France. The students stopped at the top of the slopes for their lunch and some breathtaking photos taken. Unfortunately the staff camera was playing up and produced blurred photos so the students will show you these in due course.
After lunch there was a real rush to get back to Sauze D'Olux before the lifts closed. The students have had a wonderful and diverse day of skiing and have seen some truly remarkable scenery.
After the days skiing, there was time to go into the village for souvenirs, snacks and presents for family. The students cannot play the 'we didn't get time to go shopping' because they did!!
Some spent their money elsewhere
